Art from the Heart

Hello, I'm Roxy — a bronze sculpture artist with a deep love for wildlife, nature, and the stories that animals tell us about our world.

Where It All Began

Art has always been part of my life. My father is a sculptor, and growing up I was surrounded by creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for making things by hand. He has been one of my greatest inspirations, and his passion for sculpture planted a seed in me from a very early age.

As a child, I was also lucky enough to accompany my father on trips to Kenya, where I had some truly magical encounters with wildlife that have never left me. Combined with a childhood love of Disney and the way it brought animal characters to life with such warmth and personality, I became fascinated with capturing that same spirit in my own art.

Following My Heart

My path wasn't a straight one — I went on to study Chemistry with Forensic Science and Toxicology, graduating with a first-class honours degree. But art was always calling. So I took a leap of faith, devoted a year to my sculptures, and never looked back. That leap led to being picked up by my first gallery, and the beginning of Roxy Art.

My Studio

Today I work from my home studio and foundry — a space my partner and I built together — where every piece is crafted with care and intention. There's something very special about the entire process happening under one roof, from the first sketch to the final bronze pour.

Why Bronze?

I work in bronze because of its timeless beauty and durability. Each sculpture is a limited edition, meaning every piece that finds a home is truly unique. I pour individual personality into every work, and my greatest hope is that they bring joy, warmth, and a smile to whoever lives with them.

Conservation at Heart

Wildlife conservation is something I feel deeply passionate about. I regularly donate pieces to help raise funds for conservation projects, and I hope my sculptures — like Pickles the pangolin — help shine a light on the animals that need our protection most. Art has the power to make people feel, and if my work inspires even one person to care a little more about our natural world, that means everything to me.

"Art has the power to bring people together and to evoke emotions — I aim to use my sculptures to bring a smile to people's faces and to brighten up their day."

Thank you so much for being here and for supporting independent art. It truly means the world. 🐘
