Hens are often associated with nurture, curiosity, and the simple joys of country living. Their busy, characterful nature makes them a familiar and cheerful presence around the farmyard.
Meg was inspired by one of my own chickens, a much-loved member of my flock and one of my favourites. She had so much personality, and although we sadly lost her, this sculpture feels like a special way to celebrate her character and keep a little piece of her story alive.
