Pangolins are unique creatures known for their protective keratin scales and their vital role in the ecosystem as pest controllers. Unfortunately, they are also one of the most trafficked mammals in the world, facing threats from illegal wildlife trade and habitat loss.
"Pickles" is a bronze sculpture that hopes to raise awareness about these endangered animals and their conservation. The piece captures the distinctive features of the pangolin — from its intricately detailed scales to its curious, gentle demeanour.
