Buttercup was inspired by childhood memories of a field of Highland cows in a village near where I grew up. I always loved seeing them and their calves; it was a highlight of any day when they appeared. There was something about their quiet, majestic presence that felt almost soulful, and I always felt a special connection to them.

With her rounded form, soft features, and curious expression, Buttercup captures the gentle charm and innocence of a young calf. Handmade in bronze, she brings a peaceful countryside feel to any home — a little reminder of the warmth, simplicity, and quiet beauty of rural life.
